Nix the Noise in the 'Noog

The motorcycle s are very loud in the late/early hours repeatedly, like they're driving back and forth at a high rate of speed.

There has been a street noise problem for years. Motor cycles, muscle cars, and other hot rods spinning their tires and the kick back from the exhaust echoes through our neighborhood. When I work evenings at Walgreens, everyone, and I mean everyone in the store can hear the obnoxious vehicles race up and down the street.

Last night someone was revving their extremely loud engine over and over in Renaissance Park at around midnight. Please enforce existing regs and put an end to this scourge of noise pollution.

This has gotten progressively worse throughout the past year. It is a combination of sports cars, monster pickups, sport and Harley motorcycles, and now even little sub-compact cars that are modified to sound extra loud. It is destroying the quality of life in the downtown area.

Apparently CPD enforcement of racing motorcycles across the bridge is limited because they are not allowed to chase them and the motorcycles can outrun them.

Please enforce noise regulations.

Please enforce this law. Most of these cars that are cruising up and down Cherokee Blvd don’t even have TN plates.

We live on Market Street and the noise is absolutely intentional, horrendous and city ordinances should be enforced!

The cars and motorcycles with extremely loud (deafening really) motors on a Hixson Pike in the S curves and beyond on Altamont near our home have become a huge and repeated annoyance. It’s gotten worse and worse.

This is such a Huge issue! The loud and speeding motorcycles and vehicles on Hixson Pike goes on through the night.

Fully support. This issue is egregious and persistent and needs to be addressed. It is not only a nuisance, but a huge safety concern as well.

This is happening on access road as well. Racing and speeding, just so much noise.

Loud mufflers, loud music with expletives from cars , motorcycles doing wheelies between Market St Bridge & Forrest Ave.

Be at the foot of market street bridge on a Saturday night. It’s a racetrack.

A couple of weekends ago there was a motorcycle race around 4am on Hixson Pike. This has got to stop.

Motorcycles along Hixson Pike at the S curves are a hazard!

Nightly occurrence of speeding and loud vehicles through neighborhood streets needs to be addressed.

Please curb these obnoxious loud vehicles

Motorcycles can be seen almost daily racing up and down Hixson Pike in North Chattanooga (likely with unrestricted and loud after-market exhaust systems). In addition triple digit speeds appear to be routinely achieved by the riders.
