2008 Nissan Sentra transmission shudders and shakes at low speeds. Has delayed acceleration and makes a whining noise at higher rpms. Has also turned off for no apparent reason while at a traffic light.

2011 Rogue with 106,00 miles. Transmission failed. Purchased March of 2011. So close to 2010 but dealer refuses to assist. New transmission is over $3,000

2013 Nissan maxima 79,000 miles well maintained has suddenly started to shudder real bad at low rpm and mph. Has had three trans service and just done one today and still the same thing. The first two was at 30,000 and 60,000 miles so no good

2012 Versa w less than 80k on it . Started the typical sluggish acceleration, high revs , & no acceleration when gas pedal is pushed . Dealer says cvt needs replaced and want $4200 to fix it . How do we get a c.a.l.s. going ?

2012 Nissan rogue outside of warranty with still having a note out needs a full transmission replacement estimated around $4500.00. The vehicle only had one previous owner and 76k miles. The vehicle in unsafe and the issues are being ignored by the company. Extend CVT warranties for later models or loss hundred to thousands of customers.

I own a 2013 Nissan Sentra, which I purchased used, at 32k miles. My transmission started having problems around 65k miles and I had to spend $4000 to replace the transmission at 79k miles. I owned this vehicle for 50k total.. talk about a lemon!!

I have a nissan versa 2013. I bought it in 2016. October 2017 the transmission went. Nissan didn't want to help me in anyway other than let me know if i would of had 2010 I would of had an extended warranty. That just upset me even more. I had to get a rebuilt transmission. Over $3000 to get my car going. Everything i had in savings Come May the training goes. Ive been back and forth. Where i got the car fix states that they fixed the problem. Mind you ive had to go back many many times. Now my car is bucking. Transmission place says its not the tranmission. It does it no matter what gear im in. My other mechanic cant figure it out!!! Im a single mom with a special needs child. Trying to make it. Living paycheck to paycheck. I dont know what to do. I still owe on my loan for the car. Close to $6000.00 Wish someone could help me, What can i do?

My newly purchased 2014 Nissan Sentra Transmission failed 2 years ago the dealership said it was a known problem but they would have to repair it @ a cost of $2000 then if that didn’t work replace it @ a cost of $5000. I ordered another transmission and had it replaced. Last week the 2nd transmission began to fail. I brought a Honda Accord. I am still obligated to pay off the Sentra which due to technical issues has not trade in value. There has to be laws that prevent this type of strong armed robbery & selling of defected vehicles.

I have a 2014 Nissan Sentra. It was used when I got it and had 22,000 miles on it but now it's over 91,000 miles on it almost 92,000 on it and now I need a transmission and the warranty expired on it after 60,000 miles and it came to my attention that Nissan had extended warranty on their cars with cvt transmission but only up until 2010. My thing is I have read a lot of complaints on these cvt transmissions and that they need there was problems with these transmissions but there has not been a recall on them. I also contacted Nissan of North America and they told me they couldn't do anything. I have had this car since 2016 and already transmission gone. Another thing I found out from Nissan of America was, when I gave them my vin number they said , I see you bought a pre owned Nissan with 75,000 miles on it and I was like could you repeat that because when I got it, the car showed 22,000 miles on it, so that let's me know the miles were rolled back when actually the transmission had 75,000 miles on and actually I put 20,000 miles on it for it to be at 91,000 miles now. I went and typed my vin number in at Carfax and it showed the transmission to have 57,839 miles on it. What kind of BS is this and now i still owe on this car and having to still make payments.

But still pisses me off that I had it only for 2 years and coming from baker to Las Vegas. I was in the fast lane and going from 80 to 40mph. I pulled over let it cool down for a hour then got back on the fwy. So basically this is what we did traveling through, eventually we kept it for 5 years. We stop driving it on long drives and just around the city. Because we had a truck and just used that on our long distance driving. We had only 3k to pay it off under 100k miles we traded it in. Eventually it was a accident ready to happen just driving to the grocery store losing power. Makes me mad to this day!! Piece of crap!!

2016 Nissan Versa Note purchased 6/14/18 with 44k miles. I have been fighting with Nissan for a month trying to get them to fix it and have not been able to use my vehicle for almost 2. It is still under warranty. They have denied my request for them to repurchase/replace it and are trying not to fix the transmission issues. Have not even had the car for 4 whole months!

2008 Nissan Rogue had first CVT replacement at 155,000 KMs 3 years ago - cover under extended warranty. Nissan Canada warranty covers 10 years or 200,000 KMS. Now pump is whining and torque converter locks up after 1/2 - 1 hour highway driving. Have 245,000 KMS, so Nissan Canada will not cover any cost to replace 2nd tranny with 90,000 KMS on it.
