I purchased a 2013 Nissan Altima in February 2015 I never had any issues with my transmission out of blue my transmission went out I’m still paying a note on this vehicle and I spoke with Nissan Corporate they don’t want to do anything regarding this issue they are robbing innocent people with a gun it’s 5000 replace it

Total transmission failure at 62,000 miles of 2013 Altima. All easy miles. Basically, my wife’s to and from work car and local driving on weekends. A car could not have had an easier life unless it was permanently parked.
I, on the other hand, put some demands on my vehicles and never had a transmission problem.
Nissan has a major problem with cvt transmissions, at least in early cut Altimas. Of course, they deny it.

My 2012 maxima CVT went out at 100k, all regular scheduled maintenance was performed on schedule by dealership. Nissan North America refused to assist in repairs/replacement, out of pocket cost quoted at $4k. Will never purchase another Nissan based on failure to stand behind their product.

$4675 replacement cost, with the surprise that $675 of that is to install an external transmission cooler that comes with the new transmission. So you won’t admit that the issue is thermal to start with but will charge people to add the new cooler after your junk transmission fails due to temperature.

Own a 2014 Altima. Have taken it back to dealer numerous times with transmission complaints since initial purchase. Say they couldn't find anything. Deceleration issues, RPM jumps up and car barely moves. Go months with no issues then problems start up again. Waiting for class action on these lemons!

my 2012 rogue is at AAMCO as I type undergoing troubleshooting...the mechanic was embarrassed to tell me the issue..and the fact I have pieces missing from my tranny...I was like WHAT??!!!...they said my front pulley on my CVT went out...causing my TCM( Transmission Control Module) to go out as well...This is craziness...seeing all these comments and issues and not one reply from Nissan...shame on them...I still owe over 15,000 on mine...I have only had it a little over two years...I refuse to keep putting transmissions in it...help us find a proper fix to this madness

I have a 2013 Nissan Altima and am having the same problems. It works fine in park and neutral, but shift into reverse or drive and the car will stall. It will stall when coming to a stop and the idle is rough. The Nissan dealership cannot get it to do the same thing. I've called Nissan Consumer affairs office and was told I'm not covered by their extended warranty for these issues. I no longer trust my vehicle and refuse to pay for a new transmission.

I have a 2014 Altima that I bought new. I have maintained it through the dealership and my CVT transmission Failed. Nissan will do nothing to help. Even the dealership was surprised and frustrated with Nissan. They won't support their own products here's the proof. I need a new transmission, they won't offer any assistance so I'm paying out of pocket for all repairs. They want 4000$ to install rebuilt that they will only warranty for 3 months 12,000 miles ridiculous. Come on that's pitifull I am having it done by a professional transmission shop with a remanufactured trans. they offer a 3 year unlimited mile warranty. Why can't Nissan do that it's because they know theses CVT's are junk. As a consumer we have to stop them it's not just 2014s it's 2010s all the way up to 2017s. Enough is enough with Nissan they should be embarrassed to sell theses vehicles. We must take a stand the NHTSA needs to do something as well. Nissan has built inferior products for years now and keep getting away with it, I ask why?

2013 Nissan altima purchased a year ago, it's at 65, 000 miles. Started bucking, losing power, not going after I come to a stop. Took it to a dealership had recall "repaired". Driving home car was running at 4k rpm down the Interstate. Couldn't make it back up my driveway.

I have a Nissan Sentra SV 2013 only owner. I have gone to Nissan for most of its servicing. I have always put premium gas. I had several mechanics look at my car said that the CVT transmission has failed and requires replacement. I checked the manual and there is no mention of transmission maintenance on the Nissan Sentra manual. There is no way to check for transmission fluid on this car. The throttle of this car has been a problem since they won but I was told at the Nissan dealership when I purchase it that was part of the gas saving system the car had. I still owe $5,000. And I'm faced with a $3,000 expense. And I am currently unemployed. As a single woman I purchased this car because I want it reliability. Not to finish paying a car to then be broke and have no car.

My 2014 Versa needed a new CVT transmission at 52k. I had to purchase the new Transmission Valve out of my pocket... I do hope there will be a lawsuit for these issues...

My daughter's 2012 Nissan Sentra transmission failed in the middle of rush hour traffic. The police and the DOT had to move her car out of traffic so as to avoid an accident. This is incredible dangerous.
