The proposal to restrict our religious expression has been officially abandoned. I am deeply grateful to the three hundred seventy-one people who affirmed that personal choice remains fundamental. We must remain vigilant to ensure that our right to live according to our beliefs is never again placed under threat.

As we all know the UKIP & many other parties are trying there best to ban the burkha & niqab in the UK, not only in public places but also in private places, we all need to become one and work together to deny them from making us go against our own choice, we have a choice to wear it or not, most that abide by it wear it because they choose to, as muslims we should know what is right & what is wrong, what they are trying to do is wrong, so lets all get together & re-unite under one islam, as we know first they'll ban this then they'll move on slowly to ban many other religious followings. We cant stand & watch them walk all over us, so spread the messege to as many people as you can, we need as many signs as we can get.

Reaching this threshold of two hundred and fifty signatures confirms that many others value the importance of personal autonomy. It is heartening to see this level of interest in protecting the right to observe one's own faith without interference.

The number of people standing against this restrictive proposal is growing steadily as we move toward our first major milestone of one hundred signatures. This momentum reflects a shared commitment to protecting our fundamental right to personal choice. Please consider sending this link to someone who values religious freedom so we can maintain this forward motion.

Keep your laws out of our wardrobes. It is my choice and no government has the right to tell me what to put on my own head.

Ridiculous to think they can just ban what we choose to wear. Focus on real problems instead of bothering us.

STOP THE ISLAMOPHOBIA. Everyone should have the right to dress how they want in a free country.

Not a fan of the clothing myself but banning it is a huge mistake. Where does the government draw the line next?

Freedom of religion is a basic right in this country. Let people live how they want to live.
