Have you ever played a Pokemon game and thought a new Pokemon that you think would be good in the game?, I know I have. There are countless examples of this all over the internet and the level of dedication and effort put into them is simply staggering. But all of it is wasted as Nintendo won't use any of the fan made Pokemon in their games due to the amount of suggestions they get. Although this is understandable I am still unhappy that I will never get to see on of my ideas in a franchise I love dearly ever since I was a kid. I wish to see Nintendo create a game with fan designed Pokemon, trainers, gyms, cities and everything in between. To choose the Pokemon there should be a competition where the designs are posted on to a website and the top 500 that are voted for are sent to Game Freak whereKen Sugimoriinspects and chooses the best 150 for the game and the absolute best to be the legendarys. The other details such as trainers,gyms etc. are voted over on the website. Then when they have all of the details Game Freak make the game and release it. This is beneficial for both as fans get to potentially see their own design in a game from one of theirfavouritefranchises and Game Freak will be guaranteed to have sales.
