Nintendo's customers (and in many cases, longtime fans) are extremely dissatisfied with the network/online multi-player experience currently offered on the Wii U console. There is no in-game chat, no party/party chat system and many good Wii U games [such as Super Mario 3D World and Mario Kart 8] that would benefit greatly from a better network(ing)/online multi-player offering from Nintendo, do not feel as if they are as fun as they can be (or reaching their full potential) in this new socially connected [gaming] world. Sony and Microsoft's respective [Playstation and Xbox Live] networks achieve what Nintendo's customers/fans feel Nintendo's network should, and partly as a result, Sony and Microsoft's respective consoles are more popular in the gaming community. Therefore, we Nintendo fans, feel that Nintendo NEEDS to significantly improve their network(ing)/online multi-player experience.
