Simply to reiterate verbatim to a complaint letter I sent to Nintendo on the subject: "I live in Florida, work at a retail video game store, and I have a girlfriend who lives in Texas. We've been in a long distance relationship for 3 years. I have just bought her a 2DS for her birthday rather recently. She loves it, and the best feature is sharing notes back and forth between one another. Now since we're in a long distance relationship, StreetPass is irrelevant to us, and that's why we love the SpotPass feature. But now, SpotPass was removed due to offensive material being exchanged. While I understand why this had to be done to stop this, why am I being punished? Why is my girlfriend, who loved the SwapNote app, also be punished for this? Shouldn't the offenders be punished?" Basically, I want to show Nintendo that we shouldn't be punished for somebody's wrongdoing or misuse. Buying a system such as the 2DS and 3DS, just to have a primary feature pulled for a certain software seems to be very unfair. For those who've bought this system for this social function in mind, are now being shafted and are not getting what they've paid for (granted, the service is free, but the initial price of the handheld system is not-- you buy the handheld for it's services). I want whoever is affected by this to sign this petition and let Nintnedo know that we want the SpotPass back, even if there's a new regulation to it (DRM, selling it on the shop channel, or even better Parental Controls-- any compromise would be fine) Do not let this feature be lost forever. Thank you for your time. - Jonathan
