NikeInc. is a corporate juggernaut that is the world’s most famous and one of the largest shoe brands. Although the company produces millions of clothes annually, they are not manufactured by the company itself. Instead, the Nike production is assembled within foreign manufacturing industries, specifically located in such countries as China, Indonesia, Mexico and Vietnam. Use of these foreign companies and a lack of regulation regarding the working conditions, violate the local minimum wage laws and illegal enforcement of overtime in order to enhance production. Meanwhile, the company’s chief executive officer, Phil Knight is worth $28.1 billion, the estimated 800 thousand employees within Nike’s production system are forced to live off a dollar in order to support their families. It should be emphasized Nikedo not own any of these factories, as the company focuses on the marketing strategies. However, they have shown little initiative in improving these working environments or heeding attention to the source of their products. By doing this, Nike have broken several articles from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). These articles include Articles 23 and 24.

Please sign this petition so that i can send it to Phil Knight of Nike Inc. and convince him to change Nike's manufacturing ways.
