I 110% agree with this. Thanks to whomever wrote this - this unnecessary dress code really needs to be more lightened up a bit

As a parent of an RRISD student, I find this dress code offensive to both our girls and boys. This objectifies girls bodies and insinuates that our boys think of nothing but sex. Our children are in school to learn and their clothes have nothing to do with that.

This is ridiculous! Dress codes should be gender neutral!

I thoroughly believe in this!

Since Dress Code is such a big deal, why not have all students in uniforms? I'm sick and tired with all the sexism. I've been dress coded constantly. I had a constant fashion of wearing tanks or thin tops and hoody jackets. Very simple. I would unzip and BOOM! Dress Coded for showing little cleavage. It sucked and it was so embarrassing and I feel for all the other girls. But since this is a meaningless fight, it would be best for everyone to wear school uniforms and maybe this wouldn't be an issue. All issues resolved. ╮(╯▽╰)╭

If I'm legally required to be at school, and at school I can't wear short shorts, that means I legally can't wear short shorts from 9:05-4:08 Monday-Friday. That seems pretty unconstitutional to me.

I think girls just need to start wearing those tight black mini skirts again. I remember seeing a girl in one of those was the highlight of my day. Especially when they started to ride up and you would see the bottom of her cheeks. Anyone remember Yana?

I went there for 3 years I didn't have to worry about stuff like that due to ROTC but the shorts given out for pe and everything they were fine honestly this new principal should be fired or something should be done about it if anything is disruptive would be the dragonetts I can understand person wanting to keep them safe but hard to do that when the entire school does wanna follow

Professors should not be allowed to wear dresses, or v-necks, or high heels. It is only fair that professors do not "distract" the students as they are standing in front of students teaching.

when I went to round rock high school I was so afraid of being dressed coded in the beginning of each school year that I almost passed out several times do to heat and stress. I have been dress coded on several occasions by one of the atlas teachers which created way more of an distraction, it is definitely doing the opposite of what you are trying to accomplish. this is not a work place, this is high school, were we are still trying to find ourselves and not be humiliated by adults and their own personal life standards.

I would think there are more important things to address! If this is the rule you would not allow me, as a parent on campus also! That is all I wear in the summer!
