We the Nigerian Society, both local and those in diaspora are clearly aware of the mistake made by NSCDC Official Obafaiye Shem, but we plead with the Board in Charge of suspending Mr Obafaiye Shem to reinstate him and call off his suspension on the occasion that he issue an Apology to both NSCDC and nigerians everywhere for his Mistake. Nigerians are not strangers to criticism, but we as a nation have always risen above all and still held our place as a promising nation. Obafaiye reached his ranking because of his abilities and the fact that he has promising qualities. This one mistake, we plead, should not do more than put a scratch on his record, rather than affect his career. We hope that this petition will not be overlooked by the Minister of Interior and our plea to reinstate Mr Shem will be taken into consideration.
