That it is the responsibility of the state to protect the life and property of its citizens is not in doubt. Even the act of failing to protect-inaction-amounts to abdication of this purpose of statehood. Successive Nigerian governments have failed Nigerians and the government of the day must rise up to the challenge and demonstrate that the life of every Nigerian matters.

It is a shame that Nigerian Government is using the Army at peace time to shoot and kill peaceful protesters. I strongly condemn this jungle justice in a democracy. And the should also condemn it. I thank Amnesty International for bringing this idiotic action to the world. I hope that some time in the future, some people must be held accountable.

It's barbaric for people of Nigeria to be carrying out this jungle Justice. A law needs to be put in place, when you carry out jungle Justice on some one, same will be done to you period.

While I'm totally against any act that foment the disintegration of Nigeria, I'm horrified by the killings of innocent Nigerians or non-Nigerians for the mere fact that they participate in a peaceful protest or any act that does not endanger the lives of the law enforcement.
