Ron Saunders was/is the greatest Villa Manager and we were going nowhere when he was appionted manager. He put Villa back among the big boys of English football. Yes you could argue the case for a lot of Villa players etc. I remember when we were known as Aston Vanilla the team everyone could lick , Ron brought the pride back to our great club. He won us 2 League Cups , got us back to the First Division (AS IT WAS THEN) , won us the first Championship in 70 years and it was his side that won the European Cup (with due respect to Tony Barton). I cannot see us reaching that sort of success in the near future. Paul Faulkner at the Villa will consider it if we get the support and finance to do it. I need your support so lets give it 110 %
