Nifty Kids Plea to Save our Park!

When I pick my two eldest up from nifty kids they are always in the park having fun why demolish something if it enjoyed by many..

Would be such a shame to demolish it

This park is used so much by the local community, the pupils from all saints school and children from nifty kids would miss out. It needs to be improved not demolished. Disgusting. If we were in a less desirable area the park would have been fixed to a high standard a long time ago.

Please revamp park not demolish, my kids have used that park for years.

My young son always uses this park along with a lot of other children in the area. There are no other parks within the area of cwm talwg and even though this park is very poorly equipped, the children need it. I along with other people walk my dog daily to the park

This park is used by many many people. Children play and keep fit whilst parents, childminders, grandparents etc chat andirectly spend time together. Dog walkers join in. Teenagers congregate. Older people who may not be very mobile have the opportunity to walk and enjoy the fresh air. This park is used and very much needed.

Come on save it for the kids

Absolutely awful that this park is in threat of being demolished. There are parks all over Barry that have been revamped yet one that has been here since I was a child for 34 years is just left. It's a pointless park, not suitable for little ones at all BUT it's used by the children every day after school and to take it away rather than build a new one which could be used for picnics etc by families is beyond ridiculous!!! It's about time us who live here and pay above and beyond in council tax with our hard earned money, have a decent park to spend time with our children in, within walking distance!!!

Save the park and keep it clean!!!

Revamp and let our children play!! Same as Rhoose....this council thinks these rusty old parks are good enough for our children....well they are not good enough for mine!!

I grow up there don't take kids thinks away you just want parent to spend money ,your saying kids only go on Xbox games don't go out on there bikes to the park what bloody joke you lot are you've already taken it away from my babies down Stratford green where I moved to don't make another child cry!

Council should operate for the bencommunity

Shocking the state of the parks no wonder there are so many children these days stuck in front of TVs and computer games

Would be such a shame to loose this park! It needs revamping but would be such a loss for all the children in this area!

Please keep this park, it is used by so many children including 3 of my own. What a shame it would be to loose this for the children

This park is in a great location. My children use this park when they are in playgroup they get a lot of enjoyment from playing there. Please save the park and bring it back up to scratch not demolish it ☹️

Help to save the park!! No decent park in our area it could really do with a re vamp!!

As a local Childminder it would be fantastic if this park was renewed as it is currently not appropriate for pre school children. Non affluent areas have parks renewed over and over again but Cwm Talwg is continually overlooked :-(

I used this park back a few years ago when my children were small. Would really be a shame for others living in that area to have it taken away. It is handy for the children when they come out of play school/school, and also on weekends.
