This petition is to help orchestrate a valid discussion on why Nicolas Cage would not only make a great Joker but also why he is the only actor alive that could portray him in a state of broken insanity true to the character. Nicolas cage is a Hollywood veteran and an avid comic book reader. He would bring a joker to the batman films that is a true amalgamation of Nicholson's joker , Heath Ledger 's joker and The Joker from Batman the animated series, while creating his own spin on the character. Who could follow up the dark joker that ledger portrayed? A psychotic one. Films like Face/Off show that Cage can be menacing while being a jokester.
