Shows nowadays haven't got any soul. There's no lesson to be learnt, no real challenge to be overcome and absolutely no new stories. I'm horrified by things like how devoid of a moral compass a lot of these modern day kids shows are, meow they seem to be an experiment in throwing as much random cramp as they can get away with into an episode with no need for explanations and things like just how bland and personality free new Disney cartoons are. Nothing at all to latch onto. Whilst shows like aren't and Stimoy and Rockos Modern Life started pushing the random barriers back in the day they still had story lines that went with it.
The message these days seems to be stab everyone in the back and cry and you should achieve your dreams as evidenced by The Voice and Masterchef and The Block and all of their ilk. They actively promote bad sportsmanship and downright encourage going for the sympathy vote over actually being talented.
I'll sign off now. To much to say.

Yes we need to bring back these types of shows. Shows today have bad role models for kids. You can't even go to the movies with your family any more because a scene with nudity or love making could appear without you knowing there is one in the movie. Just crappy shows and movies. Nothing like the oldies.
