As a 30+ year fan of this franchise, I’ve seen the good and the bad. The best is when Kevin is involved; the new IDW comics that he has a hand in are wonderful. I would love to see him involved in the next reboot of the movie franchise to keep it on track.

Much like Star Wars (Mandalorian & Clone Wars aside),the path that Disney has been taking with the Turtles the last few years is as if someone was relying on a faulty GPS to get by and just keep going in the opposite direction,they should be heading towards.You don't need to reinvent the wheel,but you should polish the treasured movie properties that you acquire,rather than allow them to tarnish or no longer be identified with what you have and what fans want.
