As you may know PAL Speedup ruins T.V. Shows. SpongeBob SquarePants gets this treatment as well. Some of his later episodes have had pitch correction which is way worse than just having it be higher-pitched because quality is lost.

SpongeBob SquarePants Seasons 1-3 never used to be sped up as they just repeated every 5th frame to fit NTSC into PAL's Frame rate. But as of recently I noticed the scums at Nickelodeon UK went and sped Seasons 1-3 up with pitch correction on T.V. and DVDs! Why?! I know you want more commercial time on T.V. but why DVD?! It has no financial gain.

Sure, running more commercials will help you out in the short-term, but it will hurt you in the long-term as people leave cable because of long commercial times.

Also, stop cropping 4:3 content to 14:9 it looks horrendous as it chops off loads of the picture.
