Please god, it's not fair, it's far far far worse than public indecency. A single rider ruins the moment of hundreds a minute riding through populated areas. These laws must be enhanced and enforced to their full extent. It absolutely amazes me that we still have this problem.

There are clearly written ordinances against driving with altered pipes on your vehicle in my city. The police never enforce them.

noise pollution like vehicles such as helicopters have to stop now! noise pollution vehicles waste gas and it doesn't work long term. enough helicopter tours already! noise pollution related to war has to stop now! no native american wants to hear all that loud noise. reduce noise pollution!

I really hope this petition will reach its goal. The noise pollution is just too much these days, and it's time to start enforcing the laws. I live next to a freeway and all of those motorcycles keep me awake at night, and the lost sleep makes it hard to function. All day and night it is insanely loud. This is a very serious issue. People can enjoy a motorcycle without modified exhaust systems.

There is an inverse relation between one's `manliness' and the need for something big and noisy between the legs. The louder the noise the more fearful and insecure the guy on the bike. Old news.

Laws are so stringent they are ignored. We need reasonable rules so we don't continue this NRA style offense against common sense fueled by manufacturers and the weak minded and easily influenced.

Enough is enough. How many people does one loud Harley rider upset in a single ride? Hundreds? I think all those people should get together, go to the riders home at 2:00 AM, and make a ton of noise, and see how he likes it.

While I don't agree entirely with the wording of this petition, I agree with the spirit that motorcycles are often too loud and are not held to the same standards as other vehicles when it comes to noise emissions. Let's restore some peace to our neighborhoods.

Why do innocent people have to suffer with all the insane noise , that should be controlled by the police. Just write tickets . Great source of revenue for the cities. This excessive noise is deadly to everyone's health.

Like most US families I know, we support people's freedom to live their lives enjoyably. But responsibility is the price of freedom. Mindfully aggravating neighbors and other citizens who cannot easily escape the pervasive, long-lasting, chronic explosive roar of motorcycles and (other) augmented exhaust systems places others' health at risk, makes neighborhoods far less enjoyable for those seeking to enjoy peace and quiet, and ultimately undermines the very freedoms loud motorists claim to value, as eventually the populace will call for legislation to curb the noise and for law officers to enforce the legislation.
