The term "legend" must be one of the most over-used in modern day football. But what Niall Quinn has done for Sunderland AFC is unparrelled. From player to chairman he has given more back to the club, its fans and the city (and wider area) than any 1 person to any 1 football club on the planet. Many of us would rather not think of what may have happened to us had Niall not put Drumerville together to save us frrom what looked like terminal decline. Renaming the home end in his honour would be a fitting, lasting tribute to the great man.
