There is nothing more exciting than watching wheels up in the air on the starting line and sometimes half way down the track. These sportsman racers are probably more passionate about their racing than the pros, and in my opinion, top alcohol classes are just an extension of the pro's. Give the true sportsmen the coverage they deserve - not 3 minutes at the end of the show for 8 classes - maybe!

Let the viewers see some sportsman racing ( with the announcers explaining the concept of sportsman racing ) and they will get excited for this type of racing. Wheels up is cool racing.

We need an increase in the purse and we need the sponsors to be allowed to support sportsman racers without paying a tariff to NHRA

I had younger groups of spectators asking about my L/SA foxbody mustang at the Etown Summernationals for hours. These are cars that someone can actually identify with. I explained to them the rules of the class, let them sit in the car and take pictures. Our class is interesting to most but very few know much about it without any TV coverage.

All we do is Drag Race.. Nothing else... We work very hard to do this and put all our effort, time money and energy into this and we aren't all the time good enough to get into the final every time at a national event ... We watch all the Lucas Oil series just to get to the sportsmans at the end.. We ignore and fast fowrward all of the alcohol series..

Please show more Comp,Super stock and Stock Eliminator racing and racers.Better camera angles would give the TV viewer a better sense of the speed of these cars. I love the Pro cars, but it's the same interview with the same few people ALL the time. I'd like to know about Sean Gaffeney or Bobby Fazio or Bob Broadbent's car.And by all means KEEP YOUR TV SCHEDULE!!! No more delays because of a poker game or a rerun of a golf match.

I tape the series and more often than not I am fast forwarding through tennis or soccer or some other sport. Today it was cricket. It seems like it's a one time shot. If another sport takes it's spot then I never get to see Lucas Oil Series. Today it was to be from Las Vegas. VERY FRUSTRATED!!!!
