Coverage of Sportsman racing is long overdue ... By not covering this class , a lot of market share is left on the table ... It's simply a no brainer ... Well if the sho fits ...

Agreed. Like to see real sportsmen....with all due respect a pro who happens to run his car on alcohol is really that, a pro. Let's see some SS; Stock; the backbone of this sport.

Sportsman have always been the backbone of drag racing. What cars are most easily identified as "readily available street cars"? Sportsman classes, of course. While the Pro classes are exciting, they are not what people see on the streets daily. There are lots of Sportsman racers who have big dollar sponsorship, but they aren't given TV coverage to show off their sponsors. This is simply wrong. If Sportsman racers lose their sponsors, you may find that you have nobody racing anymore.

Wish I could have seen my Pop on TV when he was kicking tail in Super Comp. 2 National event finals and no coverage.
