It is time for hockey fans to unite and send a clear message to our favorite NHL teams, the league, league sponsors, team owners and players. We love this game and have spent alot of our money and time supporting you. It is now our time to take away something from each of you as you have done to us, the people that pay your bills, once again. We agree to adhere to our message below as best we can. The message is simply this: To the NHL owners - We agree to make an effort, when possible, to not purchase your products or services from today forward. (ie. The Katz group, owners of The Edmonton Oilers also own Rexall Pharmacies, we will take our prescriptions elsewhere. Molson owns the Montreal Canadiens, we will not buy Molson or Coors products etc...) To the NHLPA - We agree to make an effort, when possible, to not watch you play in the KHL, the AHL or any other HL. We will not buy, when possible, from the businesses that you own or that you advertise for. (ie. Sidney Crosby advertises for Rebok, Jonathan Toews advertises for Canadian Tire, Henrik Lundqvist advertises for Bauer/Nike, Ryan Smyth owns Chop Steak House etc...) To the NHL advertisers - We agree to make an effort, when possible, to not purchase your products or services. As an advertiser, we the fan need you to pressure the NHL and the NHLPA to get back to playing hockey. (ie. Tim Horton's, Nike/Bauer, Scotiabank etc...) To the NHL Broadcasters - We agree to make an effort, when possible, not to listen to your radio station or watch your television station. The fans also need you to pressure the NHL and the NHLPA to get back to playing hockey. (NBC and Versus, CBC, TSN, Sportsnet, 630 Ched etc...)
