Too many people have been sexually assaulted and if "our" representatives publicly endorse abusive behavior, this is a tragic precedent to set.

This is unconscionable. It makes rape about sex and its not. Its about power and control, taking what the rapist wants using sex as a weapon. The rapist may walk away but the victim lives in the crime scene forever.
