NGHS cell phone policy

Phones shouldn't be taken when the outline is visible in a back pocket or a book bag. Its not the schools property, they don't pay the expensive phone bills.

I don't understand how the students aren't allowed to use there phone in class but the assistant teachers are constantly on there phone

Northern is one of the only schools i know that have strict cell phone rules. the "Northern family" which includes students, staff and parents shouldn't have students being scoulded or have to secretly use their phones during the day just because of a strict cell phone rule. The staff should be more accepting and forgiving about cell phone use during the day rather than causing problems and having "misconduct" over a rule no one agrees with. The cell phone policy contradicts with the open environment northern claims to have.

I'm so glad that I'm a senior this year which means I won't have to go to this boring school anymore when I graduate this year, but yea students should be allowed to use phones before school, during break, and during lunch. WE ARE NOT IN CLASS SO WE HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO HAVE OUR PHONES OUT.
