Te Uri o Hikihiki Oakura/Mokau Whanau claim WAI1509 To support Ngati Wai whanau claims to be heard. I support hapu rangatiratanga a strong hapu voice and oppose the Ngati Wai trust board mandate that is not reflective of our people.

Ngati Takapari te hapu, Paratene Te Manu te Marae. Ngati Wai te iwi. All hapu should have a voice within iwi always❗️This trust board needs to listen to its people, thats who they are surpose to be acting on behalf of, not themseleves. NWTB are not working for their iwi, they are not even acknowledging the many hapu and their rights to be heard. I personally gave up on them when l was asked to attend hui about Huataru o ti toi where there was a clear 96% vote against the island going to another iwi, and this board overturned the outcome. Clearly showing they do not care what the iwi - hapu are asking and are running their own race for themselves.

Ngatiwai I don't trust Ngatiwai Trust Board. They have done things wrong in the past and they will continue to do so. They don't have the skills or honesty to do the right thing. Elections are unfair and they do not speak for me. If they negotiate the claims, they wont solve the problem. They will just find a way to spend the money on their own stuff and we will not be better off. I support urgency.

my hapu is Pita Kino raua ko Ngapera Taiawa o Aotea, my marae is Motairehe ki Aotea. I am ngatiwai ki Aotea descent through my mother Erana Bayne and my nanna Erana Pita Kino nee Bayne. I am very proud of my lineage and do not support at all the NTB mandate. Any claims that belong to the Pita Kino Whanau ki Aotea belongs to us. We never gave any mandate to NTB I also add my children Casey and Kye Benseman
