We the undersigned OPPOSE Crown recognition of the Ngatiwai Trust Board (NTB) mandate on the following grounds:
1) There has been insufficient engagement from both the Crown and the Ngatiwai Trust Board during the mandating process;
2) The NTB mandate does not recognise hapu rangatiratanga;
3) The NTB mandate structure is not representative of the Ngatiwai people;
4)The NTB fundamentally misapplies Tikanga; and
5) We support whanau and hapu claimants who have filed for an Urgent Hearing with the Waitangi Tribunal on the recognition of the NTB Mandate.

I am Ngatiwai I am a claimant of WAI 1544 I oppose my claim being settled by Ngatiwai Trust Board. I support other claimants who have also applied for urgency to the Waitangi Tribunal on this kaupapa
Ngatiwai Tuparehuia Marae I do not support this mandate. The process is seriously flawed and NTB continuously ignore or refuse to acknowledge the questions and requests put to them from our people. Our voices need to be heard!
Te Uri o Hikihiki Oakura/Mokau Whanau claim WAI1509 To support Ngati Wai whanau claims to be heard. I support hapu rangatiratanga a strong hapu voice and oppose the Ngati Wai trust board mandate that is not reflective of our people.
I am against the NTB mandate....they have no jurisdiction over our land or our hapu claims against the crowns treatment of our tupuna and the displacement of our people, this entity is in huge debt already,
I am from the Barrier. NTB have supported a ficticious whakapapa of Rehua of Tainui, this has changed hundreds of years of indigenous history throughout the Ngatiwai rohe. We of the Island never gave them permission to go for our claims. We are contesting through MLjC at present
