I have it happen far too many times now. The NFL's overtime rules have destroyed the integrity of the game. Why should we decide the entire game on a coin toss where the winner of the coin toss needs only to score a touchdown to win. They didn't fix it when they changed it last time and it is not fair that there is even a chance, much less a good one, that one team will not even receive the ball on offense in overtime. I propose that they just set up for another quarter with the same rules as the fourth quarter, give each team a fresh set of timeouts and let them play until the 15 minutes are up. If it's still tied at the end of that, play another quarter or call it a tie game. Either way, it would be better than the fiasco the NFL has made of the overtime rules of this game.
