Some talented players will need to forgo their much loved sport without a rink... support the kids and all their hard work. Give them a rink.

Even if it's not an Olympic-sized rink, Townsville needs an ice rink. Warrina ice rink has been a huge asset to our community for decades, and unfortunately the costs just grew too high. Ice skating was the first sport I ever took up, it made me active as a child, and many of the people I skated with went on to become nationally recognised athletes. I'll miss Warrina so much.
