We need an ice rink in Townsville. It just needs to be in a more accessible place. Its a hot area, kids and adults need a family friendly activity to cool off. He have heaps of pools but only one small ice rink.

This is Townsville opportunity to get on the map with ice sports. We have many very talented ice sport participants in Townsville and need a full sized, fully equipped rink to foster their talent and bring talent to our city. Many national and international competition could be held in Townsville if we have a full sized rink. This will be a boost for city in so many ways. Come on Townsville let's show everyone just how much we want this!

i grew up spending weekends at the Warrina ice rink, it was a wonderful way to hangout with friends, escape the heat and stay fit! Townsville needs another ice rink!

Our children love and enjoy playing ice hockey each week. It is a major lose for our community, especially for the club and all of the work which has occured to set it up and build our numbers so quickly
