This is a petition for MTV to cancel the show Newport Harbor: The Real Orange County. We are asking the network to cancel the show, which premieres August 15th. Reality television has already destroyed the image of our homes and your franchise is adding onto the damage caused by large television networks and their obsession with our home. For us, Orange County is our haven in the world and we wouldn't want that image to be tarnished by your portrayal of us on national television. So please MTV, cancel the Newport Harbor program.
