Newport Detachment has been at the heart of Lincs ACF for years. It history dates back to prior 1940. Newport detachment, is the County Headquaters, and has been turned on by HQ itself. The NCO's, cadets and Adults are doing all they can to keep it open, please sign the petition if you wish to show your support to one of the County's Oldest Detachments, currently one of only two in the Region affiliated to the Grenadier Guards. Newport does a great job at following, promoting and respecting the rules and morals of the ACF and Lincolnshire. It would be a great shame to see it lost to the ages.
