Newhall District - Please fix your school calendar problem!

Work this out for families please

It is too difficult for families to have such different schedules.

Please align the Newhall district calendar to coordinate with the middle/high school calendars. Thank you!!

This is just ridiculous and needs to be changed. When I moved here from Georgia I was shocked!! I have lived in multiple states and NEVER have seen this being done in any other area we have lived.

I was just talking about this as this now affects my family. Our summers are already short and days with our kids being young and in our home as a family are flying by. Family time is very important to us. I will be signing. I only have 1 year to deal with it however, for the next little families growing up in our amazing neighborhood I hope this will work out for them. Thank you for the facts and diving deeper into this.

School breaks should be in sync for both k-6 and middle school and high school

Please make an effort to rework the schedules so those with high school/middle schill kids AND elementary kids are better able to manage their schedules! I'd even be willing to lose the 3rd week during winter break or the second week of spring break if it helps rectify the schedule issue. Thank you

My NSD child will also miss the days Hart District is off.

My son just graduated from NSD. So glad I don't have to scramble for daycare for weeks on end anymore

It's about time!!! They've gotten away with ignoring what's best for families for far too long!

This is a major logistical issue for our family and unless Newhall corrects their calendar, it will continue to cause havoc for our family for the next 6 (! Yes, 6!) years! It's unconscionable.

This needs to be the last year Newhall School District does this! I am in.
