We, the undersigned, demand that the SUNY Board of Trustees vote to renew the charter of New Covenant Charter School, for the following reasons:
1. New Covenant has academically outperformed the Albany City School District.
2. The vast majority of students would be forced to return to district schools that are lower-performing than New Covenant.
3. The removal of New Covenant would rob the Arbor Hill community of a vital resource.
4. School choice should be available to all students, not just those with the money to afford it.

My own kids are thriving here and I refuse to let the doors close on their future. We are so near the next milestone so please send this link to a few people now to keep the momentum going.

Seeing one hundred people sign this shows me that I am not the only one fighting for our students. My heart aches thinking about what these kids will lose if we fail but this turnout gives me real hope.

My kids have finally found a place where they actually learn something. Do not take this away from them!
Everything about this is wrong. Why punish the kids because of politics?
This school is the only thing keeping my son on track stop playing games with our kids futures.
DONT CLOSE IT. The teachers here actually care.
Total incompetence by the board if they shut this place down. Look at the test scores!! It works for the kids.

Albany schools are a wreck. If this school closes my kids have no where decent to go. Keep it open.
