Single use items are crazy especially when made of plastic!! I'd love to be able to look at our government and be proud of their leadership in our communities and the stewardship of our environment.

This is a no brainer! Help the environment and help the animals. You only have to Google search ‘plastic pollution’ to see how bad this problem is. Come on, Newcastle!

This has to happen! NCC other Councils and cities are doing this, you can too! Be a good role model for beautiful Newcastle, please. The environment needs this sort of change.

I grew up in and around Newcastle and know it is one of the most beautiful places in the country, I now live on the far south east coast of Victoria, another beautiful part of our country. I would like to see all single use plastic banned across the country.
