Local governing authorities are in the perfect position to encourage and mandate the use of environmentally sustainable products. Banning plastic bags (and single use plastic cutlery) is a good start to demonstrating Newcastle’s commitment to sustainable practices. It’s a move that only has positive consequences!

Plastic kills Ocean life and greatly disbalances ecosystems. Remove plastic, replace by degradable material, educate people.
