I would favor only if the City or RR were also to install a gate or similar infrastructure to block pedestrian/bike traffic, when a train is approaching, along the sidewalks over the track.

My home is within 0.5mile of the proposed railway crossing and the noise would negatively impact our ability to live in the community. Also, safety measures should be taken to secure kids, pets and residents to safeguard them from any potential accident risk.

These horns are extremely loud and wake up the entire neighborhood by the tracks. The trains don’t just honk a couple times, they’re holding down the horn for literally 5 seconds each honk and continues to do so. I always think to myself “does the train conductor have an ex that he’s trying to piss off in the neighborhood?” Please get these loud trains to stop.

Its hard to sleep some time when train horns are blaring early in the morning.
