I was raised up in NYCHA but have move. But I have family who still remain and have seen the changes. I read the article and it is so true.

People like my moms raised her family in NYCHA. Stop trying to make things easy for the rich, by throwing the poor out the door. Let the rich pay for the high price rent that they can afford. Leave the poor alone!!!!!

We need low income housing for the ppl who work and cant afford the high rent, but what we need is for NYCHA to scrutinize a bit more who they let in inorder to have a safe and descent place to call home.

I live in A NYCHA Building the city needs not to sale the buildings for their own profit because there's a lot of people that cannot afford to pay $1,000 to $3,000 for rent especially those of us that is disabled and living month to month on a check NYCHA LET US BE.....
