Sully is only one instance of Young's blatant double standard regarding racial politics. Every "racist incident" (regardless of proof) against a non-white person gets an instant response. But if a left-winger vandalizes the campus, or a Black professor (Curry) talks about how great it would be for White people to die, nothing is done about it.

I am a proud Aggie, Class of 2001! My husband and I would love nothing else than for our 2 sons to become Aggies as well (in the true sense of the word - tradition, agriculture, military, conservative values that this great University was created to stand for!) However, I am sad and disgusted to say that if our University continues to cave to requests of the ignorant who aren’t truly Aggies and don’t know what it truly means to be one, then we will gladly find another school for them to attend. I am disgusted that some of our athletes are trying to change a school they are attending for free!! If they don’t like it, then they need to go somewhere else! I would rather lose every game in every single sport than to change everything we are meant to stand for and the things that make Texas A&M great and unlike any other! That’s what makes it so special! All of this is just disgusting!! I honestly hope the football stands at Kyle Field are empty this season (if fans are even allowed)! It’s just pathetic! Ungrateful people who want to change things because they don’t agree with it! Last I checked, this is a free country! You have a choice to go to a different school if you don’t like the one you’re currently attending. Maybe you should have done your research before you agreed to attend and chosen a different school! Fisher should be stepping up as well! If winning is that important to him to allow players to act in such a way, by getting in the faces of Old Ags and trying to instigate them into stooping to their own shameless level of “protest” in front of Sully’s statue, then he needs to go as well! I’m ready to sign a petition for him tooll! It’s time to take a stand for what’s right!! Not only for our great university, Texas A&M, but this great country, the USA, as well!! If people don’t like it, then get out! Go to a liberal school! Many of them are in existence and would love to have you! Go live in a truly socialist or communist country!! ..

He needs to go today if not yesterday. We need a president that understands that we at Texas A&M are a university and alumni steeped in tradition that honors those that came before us. Sul Ross saved this school and supported PVU and this is the thanks he gets. Young should be ashamed and is not fit to hold this job. He does not respect the core values of what it means to be an Aggie.
