The skatepark brings people together, and a new one would be great for the community.

Let's build a new skatepark with proper drainage capability, and some lights for night skating, as well as an expansion.

I think this is a great idea come on Ogden the skating community has grown substantially since this one was built. Come to think about it it was already to small to begin with. It's time other communities have better facilitie.

I feel it would be a great asset for the city of Ogden to look into building a new skatepark. Ogden has done a good job at cleaning up the city over time with more to come. This park is no longer in good shape it is an eye sore and also not very well built for the current day and age of skating/rollerblading and even bikes. I feel a park that can cover more ground and also offer different skill levels for everyone would be a great investment. Let's be honest it will make all the younger kids want to leave the house and the Xbox behind to go skate because they have a park that offers beginner friendly areas. As well as make other areas of the park more difficult for the more skilled people to progress and move up to different levels and help them possibly make a career.
Thank you for the time.

Let's do this! Theses kids deserve a decent venue to pursue their sport. There is a growing crop of great amature skaters in Northern Utah, some of whom are nearly ready to go pro.
