I believe the current rules that we have regarding the disclosure of broker information should stand. As an independent contractor, not an employee of my broker, it has been my hard work and tenacity that has built my business and I deserve to market myself and my brand . The current laws that we have in place already make it clear that there is a broker entity involved

Please reconsider the equal to portion of Broker/Realtor signage. While it is certainly understandable that a Broker's name appear on any signage it would be confusing to the consumer to have to figure out who they would be calling to hire. It's the agent's money, time, and marketing that is on the line here. The Broker gets their cut so I believe this ruling is very unfair.

Please do not pass this bill. This is not what the rank and file real estate agents want - it's what the board presidents want!

This rule is so unnecessary, and a waste of resources. Why change what has been working for decades. It makes little sense to make Realtors advertise for there brokerage at the same level as themselves.

I strongly disagree with this new regulation. It further monopolizes larger brokerage owners and penalizes hard working agents who invest in their personal and team brand. I can see this actually creating a negative and opposite challenge by creating a larger divide in brokerages and diluting accountability. In my experience, agents who desire to develop a personal and team brand often are the ones driving innovation and accountability. They are invested and MORE accountable to their clients and the general public than an agent hiding behind a large brokerage's marketing budget, size, or general reputation. This new law would limit accountability. I don't recall receiving a single client, based upon the brokerage's I have worked for, but always based in the individual reputation I have built through hard work, ethical conduct and personal branding and with the (mostly behind the scenes support from my broker). In this age of data and instant search results, I find it hard to believe any member of the public could not easily find a broker's contact info based on the regulations I have worked under for the past 12 years. I believe the brokerage's name being 30% the size of the agent or associate broker is more than sufficient. I am disappointed this was not open to a more public discussion of the membership as a whole.
