Students, Educators, and Liscensed Cosmetologists and Estheticians are all affected by the new rule "83.112. Health and Safety Standards- Prohibited Products or Practices. (C) The use of any product, preparation or procedure that comes into contact with or penetrates the dermis layer of the skin is prohibited".

 Which means the rule will be affecting our money, waste the education, certifications, and even our licenses allowing us to use machines such as Galvanic, Therma Skin, and Therma Shape. Some people make a living off of these services, spent thousands of dollars on the equipment, and thousands on the education. Just for them to be taken away, and tell us we are not allowed to perform these services?

  So take a stand if you don't want to allow our new Texas rule to be determining what we will or will not be allowed to use from our education. What will or will not be taken away from our licenses. What would happen if they said we couldn't perform haircuts, or even facials anymore. Imagine all that education just wasted. All the money we have spent on classes just thrown away. Well that's exactly what we are dealing with right now, don't allow it, it will only continue.
