I am so pleased to be able to support this petition. I have lost count of the number of films I have watched over the years here. To lose this would most definitely be detrimental to New Quay and the surrounding communities.

My earliest film-going experiences were at the Memorial Hall. Not only is it a part of my childhood, but it's an essential evening family activity. For a town like New Quay, that relies heavily on Tourism for it's income, having a source of entertainment for the whole family, not just pubs and restaurants, is a must.

New Quay should be able to provide entertainment locally, both for the residents and also visitors to the area, which would keep some of their money in our economy. It would also be great not to have to drive all the time!
