Relocate Valence Street Cell Phone Tower away from SCHOOLS

This is the man-made pandemic no one is talking about mainly because there are trillions of dollars to be made from the 5g industry. The benefits and conveniences of self-driven cars, delivery drones, faster internet & download speeds are being sold to the masses on a daily basis. Yet no one broadcast the ramifications of this highly dangerous energy source that drives this next generation of technology. The health and safety of everyone (especially the next generation) should be our #1 priority.

Cell towers are a necessary evil. They need to places far from residential, school locations. They don’t belong to areas where kids play and learn.

Stop placing these towers

Cell tower like this should not be around the kuds!

Our government needs to think several generations down the line for the health of its citizens. Removing towers from schools and residential areas is a must to keep a healthy community.

My child goes to a school near by.

I applaud the author of this petition for taking her personal time to create & distribute this petition. Those who initiate democratic actions like this deserve our admiration & respect. That being said, just as anti-vaccination advocates and others often assert convincing studies and citations for their views, I am unsure whether this could possibly be a similar situation. I checked online and found a very readable article from the American Cancer Society on the RF controversy: https://www.cancer.org/cancer/cancer-causes/radiation-exposure/cellular-phone-towers.html The article appears to be well-researched and balanced, and concludes that there is not a significant health concern. It does state that further study is warranted. It does not delve into property valuation issues. In order to be more certain of the equities of this issue, I would have to review the author's sources, and also look at the American Cancer Society's sources, maybe look at other sources as well, and then perhaps make an informed judgment. That is a fairly heavy lift, but important enough to tackle as soon as I can. Thank you for allowing me to comment.

That doesn't make it any less safe. New Orleans need regulations. The city belongs to us, not cell phone companies. We need to take control of where towers are placed. Just as we do bars. Louisiana regulates cell phone towers in all swamps and marshes to protect wildlife, why wouldn't be value human life just as much?

I don’t know whose tower this is, but cell service is still terrible. If it causes damage to children, it should be taken down.
