For the final presentation on week 9 there will be two additional judges for our panel. Though I’m not sure if you will all agree, to avoid bias in our final collection presentation I’m hoping to bring pressure to the administration to allow for outer department, in-house judges that would not be naturally biased due to their previous observations and judgments of our collections; weather that be from the judging panels or through association with us in previous years. Instead I am proposing that the in-house judges come from the other side of fashion, communications. This would allow for less of a bias, and most importantly, fresh eyes with a fresh perspective on our designs that would give is a less bias, more honest and open opinion.

To achieve this, I strongly feel that the voice of the many is stronger than the few. We’ve signed many petitions before, but that isn’t what this is, instead it’s a collective on a singular voice. So please, if you don’t agree don’t sign, but if you do agree than go ahead. I hope to present this to our profs and program head by the end of week so I hope to hear from you all soon.

Cheers, and with love like always,

Ashton
