Allow baseball/softball to be played in New Jersey

I strongly support this petition.

Baseball is one of the safest sports and it is necesary to keep people active and unfocused from the current situation. There are new regulations that can be applied but overall out of all sports baseball is the sport that keeps people at a safe distance and limited contact.

Let them play! Kids need this outlet

with social distancing, face masks and gloves baseball should be able to hold practices and games in a responsible and safe way.

It’s time for Government “leaders” to put their faith in small private businesses, the growth engines of America, and allow those businesses to reopen by reinventing themselves in a manner that is safe, fair, profitable, and in compliance with the latest guidance from the CDC. #PlayBall

We have invested so much time and money to support our sons love of baseball for over 8 years. Please bring back baseball

Given how long restrictions have been in place, every adult and child is aware of what to do to remain safe. I’m CONFIDENT that baseball can resume given that it is an outdoor only, non-contact sport. Kids who love baseball are missing the physical and emotional/mental benefits of the game. It’s not fair that golf is OK, but baseball is not.

Please let our kids back on the ball fields! Thanks

With the Vivid-19 data trending the way it is then by June or July the boys should be able to get back on the field to play.
