Allow baseball/softball to be played in New Jersey

Please let the boys play ball and return some normalcy to their lives in a safe manner it can be done!

How can folks sign a petition when you say "Full list of rules/guidelines to be posted here soon"? How is baseball "virtually a non-contact sport"? Will you eliminate "tagging" someone out? Sliding into base? Will you prevent 2 fielders colliding after the same fly ball? And, the Major League owners haven't quite figured it out yet,. but you have? Not fully...MLB starts in July. And, I don't think the comparison to golf cuts it. 65 year old golfers don't need to be informed not to spit or hi-five. And I think you will agree that most are not as easily excitable or rebellious as a 14 year old.

An outdoor, no contact sport with precautions should be played. Let baseball/softball games go on!

Kids need something to keep them mentally sane. They've been locked up for 2 months. They need to be active and have some socialization. This is a very important part of child development.

My little cousin Vinny loves playing for this team and it would mean the world to him if he can continue to play the game that he loves ❤️❤️
