Allow baseball/softball to be played in New Jersey

Start baseball now! These kids need athletics to remain healthy!!

I hope that a 10 summer season can be accomplished. I believe if all are smart, we can have the kids have a short season. They have worked hard every year and deserve something positive. It has been hard on all and seeing them have fun again will be the reason for this.

Quarantine of the healthy is insane. Protect the healthy, be safe, quarantine the sick and provide extra care and protection to those most vulnerable. There is little basis for quarantine of healthy children. As walmart, home depot, construction work and more remain open, shutting down youth activities seems more an easy poltical target than an issue of public safety.

As an owner of a baseball And softball facility, We have teams that we run through our system these kids work too hard throughout the whole winter to get it thrown away for a Political war

As owner of the NJ Vipers, we are taking this game away from the kids when it does not have to be. There are plenty of ways to play this game safely.

If team sports will be allowed to reopen, baseball should be next. It's not a contact sport. Lets be smart about it and we can do it safely. Get the local leagues up and running at least. Lets have the kids play and the adults can wear masks.
