Allow baseball/softball to be played in New Jersey

Our children are not getting the excercises that they need. It is important to realize that this game needs to get started to give hope to not just the childern but parents too.

As a certified high school baseball and softball umpire I 100% accept any risk that I may encounter with umpiring a game. I have seen baseball games being played in Korea over the past few days and all of the umpires have been wearing a mask which I think is a good idea for the start of the season. Softball and baseball has started in other states and this needs to be done in NJ. These kids, coaches, and umpires have been through enough let's get them back on the field and back to some type of normalcy.

Lets get everyone out in the fresh air and out of their enclosed homes and exercise.

I am saddened at the lack of trust and faith this Governor has for this area in particular. We trusted in you when you imposed near draconian stay at home orders it’s now time to trust the people that elected you. Let the damn kids play! If they can gallavant around a beach with 10 thousand people they can surely play in games, and tournaments with proper protocols and capacity limits. Enough already

There is no reason for us not to be playing

Get them kids out there playing some ball , being active and having fun

Keep the boys safe and playing masks, social distancing and umps behind the pitcher.

Kids need sports to keep them active and healthy. Please restart practices that can be done in a low risk fashion, like baseball.

Please allowed the kids back using all the necessary safety possible.
