Allow baseball/softball to be played in New Jersey

Please let our boys play baseball!

Open up baseball. Kids need to move around.

The players will be outside, which is a plus. Studies have said that the chances of transmission are slim, when you have outdoor airflow. The players can use hand wipes each time they come to the dugout. I don't think it is a good idea to wear masks when they play. It does not allow good air flow for their breathing safety

Seriously...let them play.

Baseball and softball should be allowed in New Jersey effective immediately using some distancing guidelines for the short term

We need to give the kids an outlet! Please let them do what they love and safely!

Our youth need each other and an outlet for physical activity. To deny them is not protecting them. It will do real damage.

Outside is the safest place to be and where the kids belong

With safe measures such as social distancing and masks (in the dugout), the kids should be able to play together. Parents would also practice social distancing when watching the games/practices. Coaches, players, and umpires can have their temperatures checked before each game and umps can wear N95 masks to protect themselves. We can start playing sports, as it is fundamental to American tradition during summer. And we can do this safely.
