I've been visiting this skatepark since I was a nipper, now 23 and pretty shocked to see it has dissapeared! As stated by Luc Byford, I feel a meeting should be arranged to put forward ideas for a new design that benefits both newcomers to the unconventional sports these parks are used for and for the older, more experienced lot.

The older children need somewhere to hang out and the skate park was always very popular. It keeps them busy and a safe place for them to meet up on a daily basis. It also gives the younger one's somewhere to learn as not everyone has a place at home to learn to skate.

We need facilities like this to give kids something to do and is a great form of exercise. People moan about kids an teenagers hanging around on the street then take facilities like this away which only encourages this.

The new Park should be made out of concrete! Also members of the council should check out the parks in the surrounding areas (Waterbeach, Cottenham, burry st edmonds ect) and try to come up with something different it's all to easy to build similar setups. A bowl type park would be the best setup for every one.

We have just moved into Haddenham. Our youngest son is a keen skateboarder and was really looking forward to meeting new people and skating at the park. He is devestated it has been removed.

This should not be happening as the Skate park was provided and was not Maintained correctly and was built with bad quality materials. Upto the point the skate park was taken more than enough Children were using it. The new park should reflect ages as young as 5 as my daughter had no problem using the smaller ramps.

We really need to replace our old skatepark with an excellent concrete design.
